Do I need to download an app?

No. Everything works through regular text messages. Any phone that can send and receive texts will work.

What if I miss a check-in?

No problem. We'll move on to the next one. You can also text us anytime between check-ins if you have a concern.

Is this replacing my follow-up appointment?

No. Your clinic visit is still important. This fills the gap between discharge and that appointment so we can catch problems earlier.

What if something is wrong?

If your responses suggest a concern, your care team is alerted right away and will call you. For emergencies, always call 911.

How do I stop the messages?

Reply STOP to any message, at any time. You can also reply HELP if you need assistance.

Is my information private?

Yes. Your data is encrypted and handled in compliance with HIPAA. We never sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does this cost anything?
